Annual August Books and Blueberries Sale
The Board of Trustees of the Somesville Library have cancelled our Annual Books and Blueberry Sale for 2020 due to CDC advice on Covid-19 risk. It was a difficult decision, as this event is a major fund raiser for our organization. Books are always available for sale in the back room by donation. Current Library hours and conditions of entry are posted on the door, on Facebook, and this Website.

Our annual Books & Blueberries Sale is our largest fundraiser. Each August, this fair brings together residents, board members, and summer visitors for a day of books, food, and fun.

Under our tents, visitors find a huge book sale with thousands of used book titles across many topics. Our baked goods table features a variety of blueberry treats and locally-made favorites. You can find blueberry-themed arts and crafts ranging from blueberry aprons to stationery. Our silent auction features gift cards and donations from local organizations and artists.

Add in live music from local musicians, children's games, and a BBQ lunch, and see that there really is something for everyone.
