Annual August Books and Blueberries Sale
The Somesville Library Association held its annual Books and Blueberries Sale on August 14th, 2021 on the library front lawn at 1116 Main St in Somesville. At the Sale, visitors found thousands of used books across a wide variety of topics, blueberry-themed baked goods, fresh wild Maine blueberries, and a nice selection of local crafts. Thank you to all of our volunteers, and to everyone who attended.

Our annual Books & Blueberries Sale is our largest fundraiser. Each August, this fair brings together residents, board members, and summer visitors for a day of books, food, and fun.
Under our tents, visitors find a huge book sale with thousands of used book titles across many topics. Our baked goods table features a variety of blueberry treats and locally-made favorites. You can find blueberry-themed arts and crafts ranging from blueberry aprons to stationery. Our silent auction features gift cards and donations from local organizations and artists.
Add in live music from local musicians, children's games, and a BBQ lunch, and see that there really is something for everyone.
